Wow I paid 900 for the Samsung version of this CRG9 which doesn't take usb c or have a kvm but has the rest of these specs. Samsung one creaks too while it warms up and cools down. Idk the quality of this monitor compared to the Samsung CrG9 though

That's a big boy. I wish they would ditch the old crappy 1080p Dell monitors at work and move to screens like this.

I upgraded our office monitors from a single 19-21" 1600x900 display to dual 27" 1440p displays on gas springs and I still hear about how I threw the money away because now the users have to "set 200% DPI scaling to see anything".

I was coming from one of those 34 inch IPS alienware panels and was deciding between this monitor and the odyssey g9. I initially got this monitor but couldn't get over how bad ghosting was (oddly enough i noticed it the most when watching youtube videos). I returned it and got the g9 which was a step up in ghosting / color accuracy but still isn't an IPS display. The AOC for this price though… I wouldn't complain too much and most people would be happy with it.

I used the g9 for about a year and a half before moving over to an lg c1 OLED. Don't think I can ever go back now.

You mean you use an oled TV as a monitor, and you like it?

Yup. Colors are great, supports gsync, ghosting is pretty much nonexistent which is a big deal for the games I play. No issues with burn in (I use it half the day for work with a bunch of static elements) but if I did have any issues, it came with a 4 year warranty that covers burn in.

Sure it's a tv but there's a difference between using a quality tv vs a cheaper one. To each their own.

went from 27" to 48" UW Monoprice that was on sale for this price. It is just too wide from normal use, but fantastic for gaming/flying MSFS....

fair amount of ghosting if that matters to you
