Is this redeemed in the game itself, or the website? I own the game, but never installed it, and I have no idea what Bloodpoints are ....

Same! I got the game free on Epic Games but only installed and redeemed Amazon Prime Gaming freebies for the game.

Instructions to redeem: Download the game > Launch game > Open the "Store" > Top right has "Redeem Code" so click on that to redeem the codes.

As for what Bloodpoints are, I have no clue lol laugh out loud

Bloodpoints are the currency you spend in the bloodweb to unlock abilities for the survivors and killers you own. The higher tier the choice the more blood points you have to pay and sometimes one unlocks a path to another.
Once you fill up a web then your character gains a level and gets a new, larger web to start filling.

It's the in game currency you receive after each match. Blood points (BP) allow you to unlock items and perks that you equip to your character. Each character has 3 unique perks that are unlocked for every character at level's 30, 35, & 40. Generally it takes roughly 750k to 1 million BP to get each character to level 40. To put it simply, these codes get you halfway to fully unlocking one survivor or killer.
Definitely a good drop before the 6th year event that begins. I'd recommend waiting for that to start first, you'll get a lot of great items around then in the skill tree aka blood web.

If you mean the wait queue for a lobby, it used to be, not so much anymore with cross platform multiplayer.

Depends on time of day playing. During the day im waiting probably only seconds to get into a queue. At night it can be minutes but i usually watch a stream or video on the side while waiting, so its not terrible.

It used to be 30-45 minute wait, now even at a few minutes, I'm either tweaking my load out or spending blood points and run out of time.
