Is this a bad marketing strategy from SD to say "here's a deal" when there is no such deal as Walgreen's restricts sodas to 3 packs in most states? Please do some better research!
You can add different varieties to get around the "3". You are probably also looking at recycling fees and taxes. Which also differ in every state, and are not included in the total for the deal, ever. Because it varies by where you live.
Screenshot of a state with no recycling fee (but tax is still there) http://vvcap.com/2UfX9I8sB
Added 3 X Diet Pepsi + 1 Pepsi, no coupon applied.
Added 3 X Pepsi + 1 Mt Dew, $3 discount added and the price down to around $14~15.

My results: 3/10.99 + 1/3.66 = 14.65 subtotal
14.65 - 3.00/coupon = 11.65 + tax
