Really? Who mistakes our bread for sweetbread? People from what country? I'll agree lots of our bread (Wonder and such) is disgusting, but it's not overly sweet compared to most of the bread I've eaten around the world. It's a texture, general flavor, and a glueness that is so repellent. Decent bread is available at specialty shops and such, but unless it's a sweet type, I haven't found it to be sweeter as a general rule.

I'm not trying to be argumentative; I'm genuinely curious as it isn't a complaint I've heard or experienced with the bread. Desserts? Oh yep, absolutely. We like it sweeter than everywhere.

both are merely returning to their pre-war price.

i guess knorr could only get away with price gouging for so long...

It's probably stock nearing expiration, and no, it's not price gouging.

^^^ Well, its Inflation pricing, but yes, to be consumed quicker than stock-piling. I am in the process of freeze-drying everything just so I can eat next year.

People visiting from other countries are always amazed at how our food is much too sweet and salty.
They often mistake our bread for sweetbread.

These Knorr products are effing disgusting. I believe sometime they bought out Lipton's noodle business in 2000s and it's not even close to the same shiz. Anyone who Lipton butter noodles and all their other yummy flavors in mid 90s can attest!

Mainly people from Eastern European and middle eastern countries.
I knew a British lady that would buy only sourdough bread because that was the closest thing to what she was used to back home.

[*If you were to take a French person to an American supermarket and ask them what they think of French bread and French roast coffee. You'd get an earful.

People from other countries also find our milk chocolate much too sweet as they're used to a bitter taste.]

If an American came across the latter two breads. He/she would probably throw them out.....thinking it was stale or moldy. They also become rock hard within 24 hrs.

Many, many comments on Amazon about receiving only ONE packet when 8 were ordered. I'll pass on this "deal".

Yes 😂 as a German living in the us, it's totally true.
Just a few types of "bread" that we can eat here, like sourdough bread. But most of the times, I'll bake it myself
