One thing to note with this offer is that you can claim the 80,000 points with this and then downgrade the card to a Double Cash in a year. Effectively giving the Double Cash a 800$ sub

1) Meet spending requirement on Citi Premier card

3) Downgrade Premier to Double Cash or Custom Cash before you're charged with another annual fee
4) Points balance should carry over from Premier to your downgrade card

$15, $10, 40% off citi offers at amazon, I got those once I added premier card to my prime account.

I have this card with the 80K points offer. A couple of things... their travel page doesn't let you book past Dec 31st of this year. It says they are working on it. The other thing is they don't give 3x points on Wal-Mart shopping cos they consider Wal-Mart a warehouse and not a supermarket.

You need to enroll card though the amazon offer page. There are threads here, search and follow those threads, for $ off you will be add codes at checkout. I hope that helps.

I have AmEx Gold... I don't travel much, so the rewards here would be better. The only thing I'll really be missing is the extended warranty with AmEx, unless I'm missing something?

Second year annual fee posted and no retention offer. Gonna cash out the points then downgrade. I mainly accumulate Chase points and see no point of keeping Thank You points as a separate category.
