2 family members got denied, one with 120k income and 840 credit score. Upon reading it seems that not enough credit utilization is the problem. Normally it's seen as a good thing to not use available credit but not in this case apparently. If you don't carry a balance on your cards they don't want you.
Is anyone else having an issue with the Virtual Account Number being declined online whilst waiting for the card to arrive? I tried on Aer Lingus today and got several errors that looked like card being blocked. I called Citi and told me they couldn't see any charge coming through so it's not them.

Citi is a joke, I have had a double cash card for years, I just applied for this one a week ago and was approved. Tried to add it to my google wallet, citi locked all my cards for fraud. Called in got them to unlock my cards. Today trying to just add my double cash to my google wallet locked all my cards. Called in and the could unlock my double cash but the other remained locked and they said they have to mail me a letter. Why can they verify one card but not the other over the phone? I pushed them pretty hard on this because it makes no sense, but they would only let me do mail verification. There hasn't even been a transaction on the card yet because it keeps getting locked for fraud.

It looks like the virtual card works on other online retailers (Amazon). So must just be Aer Lingus. I also have had Double cash back card for few years. I didn't run into any issues adding the new premier card to my digital wallet (apple). But I must say that the customer service from Citi is noticeably inferior compared to other banks I deal with eg Capital One.
Can someone confirm if Citi allows using the credit card before the physical card arrives in the mail? I have a larger purchase coming up and I prefer not to wait 10 to 12 days for the card to arrive.
Does anyone know when the timing of the 80k sign-up bonus hits after you spend the 4k? Is it immediately, at the next statement cycle, or after 1-2 billing cycles ? According to the faqs, it says 1-2 billing cycles but I'm wondering if anyone got it sooner.
So I was looking at my email and I think I had a "Citi Thank You Premier " card back in 2016. I can't tell if it's this same one because u downgraded it to the Double Cash card years ago.
Would I be able to partake in the sign up bonus or maybe I would be disqualified and end up taking a hard pull for nothing.

Any way to check eligibility?
You should be fine as long as the downgrade was over 2 years ago.
"Are you eligible for the welcome bonus (24-month rule)? The welcome bonus of 80,000 ThankYou points on the Citi Premier Card isn't available to you if you've: Received a new cardmember bonus on the Citi Rewards+, Citi ThankYou Preferred, Citi Premier, or Citi Prestige, in the past 24 months"

I applied today and was denied.
I dont supposed it can be reconsidered by calling them?
I was just approved for the Chase Ink Business Cash card 2 days ago. Maybe something to do with that? Oh well. I do just have 1 credit card with them (Cash card from previous Premier Thank You card few years back) so maybe I may just not have much Business with them.
Denied. 800 credit score with 3% utilization. I pay everything off on time monthly. Curious to see what reasoning I get in the mail.
I'd like to know to
I applied about a year ago and was denied
I'm wanted to wait until February to apply for my wife so it will be in our insurance payment window due towards the end of April
She is pretty much like you in her rating
I'm thinking they may deny her since we also pay off our bills every month and keep no balance
Does anybody know when this offer will go away?
Keeps saying limited time and it's been around a while
