For now it's a good price, it's used to be the same $5, with all the prices going up in almost everything.

Some franchise stores don't honor this price even using app, YMMV.

If it's in the app for $5 then order and pay in advance. I don't think they're like subway who cancels your order after you took the time, energy and gas getting there and all. -at least the taco bell near me is cool.

Just looked in the app and holy cow you weren't kidding. My area already increased the prices on their box meals ($6 instead of $5), but now it's $7.29!! What times we live in…

Edit: Well, at least they've still got a "Classic Combo" for $6.

I actually had a store tell me I couldn't use that special anymore, and they would just cancel it next time.

The deal has been in the app for a week or two. But it wouldn't process all the time, which I think means the store had blocked it

End of last year, only 1 store a few cities over still had $5 boxes. Start of this year, all of them are over $5, most of them 6.99 or more --- that was before the gasoline inflation prices. Kind of disappointed in Taco Bell. Their ingredients are cheap, it shouldn't have jumped so high for all their food. Sadly, this is a deal now along with their $5 breakfast box. Will probably get a few boxes over the next few weeks if it's still available. Thumbs up and repp'ed!

You can check on the app. Most of the items do charge extra for swapping unfortunately. Not as many options anymore. I think you can swap for the black bean vegan version for free.

That box is $6.99 at my local Taco Bell in San Diego 😕 But they always seem a little more expensive than other TBs in the area

The $5 My Cravings box is a better deal IMO... I'd get this one though if you got the side of taters instead of those gross cinnamon twists.

Same - this is my weekly go to, and you can change up the contents. Excellent deal for $5 - you get a lot of food.
