The 100ft roll on Amazon and Walmart is NOT pressure compensating. See reviews and I just tested that myself:

I just finished a massive 16x4 raised bed where I installed ~100ft of those irrigation hoses and I ordered 2x of the Copper Shield and 1x the 100ft roll that's on sale here. The Copper shields would pressure compensate when connected to the Rain Bird Faucet connector and get the 0.9gph out. The 100ft roll would just push out a lot of water on the first few holes and then less on the ends - definitely not pressure compensating. So keep that in mind!

It's cheaper according to the 3 C's, but this has never sold anywhere near whatever the ridiculous MSRP listed for it is. Seems to be about 20% off the usual price.

MRP $77 is a joke. $29 is regular. Amazon is selling for same price:

Rain Bird ET63-100S Drip Irrigation Pressure Compensating 1/2" (0.634" OD) Emitter Tubing, 18" Emitter Spacing, 100' Roll, Brown https://a.co/d/gbwIh2U

I don't think this is what you think it is. It's only a 1/4 inch and it has little holes along the length

I want to attach it to an existing sprinkler head. Will the holes get bigger when I winterize it?

According to the 3C's, for the past 6 years it has been $21.80 on Amazon. So yea, saving $4 at $17.83 is a bit of a deal. What will get expensive are the fittings if you need or want them...

Not on my computer screen. Click on the 100ft and it is a few cents cheaper than the 50ft.

Will you please come to my home and set up irrigation for shrub beds in front of my home so I don't have to get out there in the over 100 degree heat and water the shrubs (and trees as well) using hoses and sprinklers? We have large yard and no sprinkler system. I don't bother watering the grass in the summer. Only the shrubs and the trees.
