I bought this as a black Friday deal for the same price last year. Had it for 6 months and used both wet and dry with no issues.
At this price it's worth the buy if you need one.

It is a good brand. HART is Walmart's "in house" premium tool line, comparable to Ryobi at Home Depot and Kobalt at Lowe's.

Have the 8g stainless steel version and it is awesome. Had a full AC drip pan and it cleared it immediately. Afterwards, I used the blow function to clear the drain line. Worked perfectly. Well worth the $30

Did you get the 6 gal or 8?

I got the deal when it was live during BF too and that was for the 6gal. This new one seems like the much better deal.
Good call. I also got the 6 gallon. I never one thought it was too small or wished it was bigger.

I got the black friday one and it had good suction at first but after using it in the work shop a few times the suction really went down and it seems to have a leak around the seal.

did I get a lemon or is that what is expected of this discounted shop vac?

Wifey is going to keel me if I get another vac LMAO

Currently have a 16gal Rigid, 10gal Dewalt, and 6gal & 3gal 18V Ryobi.
Lol, you could release a video comparing them and make money.

I just got the Hart and used couple times. Its weak but it get the job done.

Wife gets tense if I am looking at sd.

Can I use this as a sucker for pile of leaves in fall and dump in big bag?
No. Leaves do not compact, it would take forever, and it will block the filter.

How noisy are these? I have a 20 year old shop vac. Works fine, but loud.

Nope, friend got a dewalt and other friend has Rigid.

Hart seemed bit weak on suction than them. I never tried wet, so cant say about it. But overall for the price 30, its suffice for my occational needs and I am happy about iys function for my use.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank Toe

These things have a weird pedigree. Hart is owned by TTI, who makes Hoover, Dirt Devil, and Oreck vacuum cleaners. But these Hart wet/dry vacs aren't made by TTI - they're actually made by Cleva, who makes Vacmaster. You can verify it by looking at the UPC codes. The first part of a barcode is the manufacturer, and on these, it's 814953, same as on most Vacmasters.

No reason it couldn't be used for that purpose. I would suggest using a bag liner for easier cleanup.
