I bought this as a black Friday deal for the same price last year. Had it for 6 months and used both wet and dry with no issues.
At this price it's worth the buy if you need one.

It is a good brand. HART is Walmart's "in house" premium tool line, comparable to Ryobi at Home Depot and Kobalt at Lowe's.

Have the 8g stainless steel version and it is awesome. Had a full AC drip pan and it cleared it immediately. Afterwards, I used the blow function to clear the drain line. Worked perfectly. Well worth the $30

Looks just like the Husky brand shop vacs sold by Home Depot. I have one and it works fine. Very hard to find crevice tools though.

What are filter prices like, the price of the vacuum is great but what is the long-term maintenance cost as compared to something like a Shop-Vac brand unit?

If you're asking why he is worried that his wife might "keel" him, because some guys have no stones. She likes calling the shots, and he allows it.

If you're asking why he has multiple items of the same type, silly question, because he is a SDer.

So they cancelled my order from yesterday for pickup due to no inventory…
I went there and there was one 8 gal left…
I scanned with the Walmart app and it said $29…
At the register it rang up at $70….
After some arguing, the manager stepped in and gave it to me for $29….
What a hassle…

Project Farm review of the 16 gallon Hart showed only 4.4 lbs of suction vs. 10.4 lbs for the leader DeWALT and 10.1 for Bauer.

These are a great price, but not even close to the big boys when it comes to suction.
This is valid for the 10 and 16 gallon vacs, but checking the stats of all 3 models on the Hart website, the bigger ones have a weaker motor. The 8 gallon has a water lift (eg suction) rating of over 27% higher than the bigger ones, which should put it at least roughly in line with the Ridgid, assuming the same 27% increase in suction lbs

Can this drain some pool water off

No

We have a pond and you need a vac with a "pump out" feature. They are more expensive but worth it. I also saw plug in pumps that screw to the drain output, but never used one

It will pump water out the drain as it fills, these just fill up and blow water out the air output. You have to stop, open the drain, close it, start back up.

Bough the 8 gallon, Walmart said order was ready for pickup, 5 hours later and order was randomly cancelled. Something fishy.

Hart is Owned by TTI (Techtronic Industries Company Limited), Hart Tools is one of several brands including Milwaukee, Ridgid, Ryobi and several others that TTI manages.

I haven't used any vacuums from them but have used some of Thier power tools and they seemed on par with Ryobi quality. So ya store exclusive brand with trickle down features and quality build from higher end brands.

How are you alive, I just told my better half if I should add to my DeWalt 10gal and I got a look enough to start an asthama attack.
