I bought this as a black Friday deal for the same price last year. Had it for 6 months and used both wet and dry with no issues.
At this price it's worth the buy if you need one.

It is a good brand. HART is Walmart's "in house" premium tool line, comparable to Ryobi at Home Depot and Kobalt at Lowe's.

Have the 8g stainless steel version and it is awesome. Had a full AC drip pan and it cleared it immediately. Afterwards, I used the blow function to clear the drain line. Worked perfectly. Well worth the $30

Thanks, my 12-gallon shop vac, is old and too big and heavy for me. Picked up the 8-gallon.

Good call. I also got the 6 gallon. I never one thought it was too small or wished it was bigger.

That's good to know, thanks. This one is also 1 HP greater than our 6gallon.

Does this really come with a paper canister filter like my craftsman vacuum? I heard in the past some Harts vacuums use a cloth bag as the filter?
Like most modern shop vacs it comes with a pleated paper cylinder filter. You can to some extent brush that off. The 8 gallon stainless steel also comes with a disposable vacuum bag that has finer filtration and larger surface area, that you would throw out and buy replacement bags for once full. You would use one or the other. Not both at the same time. For finer filtering/easier cleanup you might want the bag sometimes. For generic vacuuming the standard filter is fine. May be included on all of them but that's the one I just bought

The filter bag is generally a nice option to have and really you just need a bag that fits over the inlet so you can find generic replacements for when you WANT to use it. Never seen one that only took bags

I bought one on Black Friday deal for 29.99 i think. Cord is really short. You can assume that the blower function pretty much doesn't work. I recommend paying extra $ to buy better one.

Project Farm review of the 16 gallon Hart showed only 4.4 lbs of suction vs. 10.4 lbs for the leader DeWALT and 10.1 for Bauer.

These are a great price, but not even close to the big boys when it comes to suction.

Nice, I was looking for a comparison because I recently picked up a 10gal dewalt from costco for $80. Glad to hear it sucks so much better, I was worried I was getting screwed. This deal is so much cheaper though, for the price I could get two of the Hart vacs.

Hmm.. get two that suck okay, or one that sucks really well?

got the $29 a month ago, same price... the aluminum is cheap, doing a simple vacuum at the garage crushed it , make it shrink , i set the return option on the app so will take it back eventually. if any, get a plastic container one.

What, Ryobi is an Home-Depot in-house brand? They've marketed it pretty well in that case with the Ryobi One family and interchangeable battery.

About this deal, looks like a great price. VU!

Can anyone explain to me why HART 3-in-1 Wet/Dry Shampoo Vac, 6 Gallon 5.5 Peak HP Vacuum Cleaners https://www.walmart.com/ip/685999837 cost $139, 6 gallon w/ 5.5 peak hp power? And 8 gallon w/ 6 peak hp only $29. Thank you.
