Superb deal in my opinion.

However, in response to the gentleman above:
1. Speakers are bad
2. Brightness distribution and screen bleeding are horrible. The panel will tend to dim and brighten from time to time. Nonetheless, the total brightness is good I'd say, at 340-nits
3. Battery life is average at around 6 hours
4. The idiotic need for Acer to put pg down and pg up right above the narrow left and right keys. Can't tell how many times I've hit the pg keys instead of the arrow keys and that's even after using the laptop for 4 months. Had to remap those keys
4. I have the 8GB version and it does get warm, esp if the fans are blocked which would happen if you use it on your lap or on the bed in particular

Other than those cons, this is a really great device esp at this price. You won't find a QHD+ convertible with a garaged stylus and great selection of ports at this price.
The next best option is the new Lenovo Yoga 6.

Thanks for insights. I've never used Acer and don't see them in store to test...but I keep coming back to this deal since you posted about it last week when it was thru the MS ebay store

It's a really good laptop, I own it. But those nitpicks/cons really get on my nerves, esp the pg up and down buttons since I type a lot; the rest I can live with. Was disappointed with the battery life as well, was expecting a bit more from an EVO certified laptop.

I have this laptop as well and completely agree about number 4! I never thought about remapping, thank you for the idea.

You'd need to download a 3rd party software for it off of Microsoft store. The name's 'powertoys'.

Is the chassis fully made of metal? Yoga 6 has top part metal and bottom part plastic.

The features/price seem pretty slick, but 3.09 lbs seems on the heavy side for a 13" 2-in-1.

Yes the chassis on this is entirely metal, top and bottom both. You are correct about the Yoga 6.

How would this compare to a Samsung Flex2 Alpha with same processor/RAM? My Best Buy has an open box one that I've been looking at for my upcoming college student.
