There was a coupon automatically applied in the cart. I am not sure how prevalent this coupon is but it worked for me. Looks like the ones Eddie Bauer sells for $25 full priced for one or $17.50 when on sale.

I prefer this one with multiple battery options, rechargeable battery and then regular batteries as well.

You missed the concept. The other linked light comes with a removable 18650 that can be charged by way of the lantern while in the lantern but will also take 3 standard AA batteries. You can use the replaceable rechargeable and if not near power can swap to standard batteries if need be. Even better is to buy a few more rechargeable 18650 and get off the battery buying bandwagon, you can even use the lantern to charge the 18650s for itself or other lights and gear that may take one. One 18650 is more compact and easily carried than three AAs and the 18650s have more power and are longer lasting. I bought the set for just that reason to get away from some lanterns that use D cells.

I'm still not sure how that applies to Eveready, or if they really mean Energizer. Also doesn't list when it'll expire

I never described them as having rechargeable batteries. Subjectively I would rather have these with non-rechargeable batteries because I plan on keeping these for emergencies so I do not wish to pay extra for rechargeables for something I don't plan on using often or regularly.

The Amazon page says rechargeable, which is wrong, of course. In for a 4-pack. Thanks OP!!

Thanks for showing me more option. I hate spending more money but you are right, it is a better alternative. It come with 18650. I wonder if it can recharge the AA too.

These are very convenient, but the ones I have are in the 6000k range, so very hard on the eyes. I cannot even look in their general direction, without half blinding myself. I wish they were more in the 4000k range.
