It's nice to camp with your family or another couple you like. And this would generally be a great configuration for two couples or a family, if you can find an appropriate place to pitch it. That's the rub with tents like this. At least around here, that would be difficult. In our experience, at least regionally, at campgrounds many spots only accommodate up to about 15', and in dispersed camping it can be pretty difficult to find a level spot large enough.

Unless you intend to camp places you know this tent will fit, I think most people would be better off with two tents than something like this.

At max capacity this tent could hold more people than what is allow at all, but group campsite, that I know of.
