I think I need curved one. I am feeling difficulty with my 34" Samsung monitor bought from costco. Far left or right window content is not visible properly glaring. Any suggestion?

Curved monitors are usually VA panels, just something to note. But without knowing your budget, needs, size, resolution etc. it is hard to answer your question. Search this forum, there's one on the frontpage, and also look at monoprice.

i recently bought an imac and decided i want to go another direction with a laptop + monitor. i know a cheap panel won't be as good as an imac one, but would this be a decent buy in my price range? i read a bunch of text so i need a clear panel, but i don't game. would be grateful for any thoughts

Same issue - the solution is a rotating monitor mount. Using these big ones in Portrait mode not only gives proper orientation for documents and web pages and photo-editing, but also allows vertical stacking of work-windows and better all-around perception of a big screen.
Rotating wall mounts are cheap. Just prop up your monitor sideways and go to Display Settings and change to portrait and see what I mean. There are also apps online to allow changing instantly from portrait to landscape when you want to game or etc.

the text should be clear and 75hz is good for gaming too if you decide to play. it's 2k and not 4k like your imac but i think 4k is overkill on a tiny screen anyway.

have been two of this monitors user for around a year and half, good monitor so far, only caveat is do not turn on HDR, its useless and you should not be expecting HDR to be good in this price, other then that, good monitor, i game on it as well.

This!!! Really happy with mine, I had that exact 34 Samsung and I returned it. I bought it for $400, was $350 recently. I was contemplating if I should get a 2nd one but looks like I missed the boat

It's OK for text and decent at movies. Probably fine for games. But I have good vision and would have benefited from 4K at this size.

Programming. 27" to 32" i guess. At least qhd. Budget why too much. But same would happen with other screen also. Becoz I have window on my back that gives reflection to my screen that makes hard to see on far left/right side.
