It's OK for text and decent at movies. Probably fine for games. But I have good vision and would have benefited from 4K at this size.
agreed. I came back from costco and I can notice that the pixels aren't tight when reading text.

Monitors should be like women; curved. Haha but really, give us this deal in a curved version -- even add $100 to the price. Hard to find.
.
A curved IPS monitor with otherwise the same specs? Have you seen one for under $500?

Got one this week and using it with my 16" M1 Pro .. Pic/txt/viewing angles/ brightness all are excellent ( for me )

Assembly took literally 2 minutes! ( no tools needed! )

The one issue that's annoying me is the lag when using the mouse ( Logitech M510 - bought new last week and with a new battery ) on this monitor ( vs being absolutely smooth on the laptop's built in screen )

The tilt and height adjustment features are very handy! All in all, for $200, this is a GREAT buy!

I use my laptop for work and it is qhd on 17 screen, i use 120 percent zoom and it is comfy to use but it is tiny comparing to my 4K 32in screen I use for gaming. I am debating getting 27in or 32" screen 4K or QHD for work to put to the right of my main screen as second monitor. I had 27" QHD screen before and it was comfortable for both work and play. My question is if anyone used 32in screen at QHD is it comparable to 27in nice and sharp to use 8 hours a day in various browsers and apps or am I better off getting 4K?

Bought two last weekend and I'm using them for my home office setup on a dual monitor stand. I was using two 27" monitors. I wish did this sooner. These monitors are a great deal.

Almost same type of things I am going through. After some experiment I think 16:10 monitors r more comfortable. A perfect combination of both worlds scaling. I have one of 24" and I love that. But other 34" samsung qhd one I am trying to replace.

I am typing this on this monitor. Had for about 3 months now and highly recommend. Very bright and clear. I don't game. I do stream video and it's excellent on this monitor.
how is the contrast. LG tv often have low contrast. I like to see deep blacks. Not gray blacks.

Rtings.....I suppose Mediocre is a good reason not to buy. Two Mediocre beats a full house. No thanks. No gaming...No contrast...low HDR...Bad text (not sharp)

It's just okay for gaming, as it has a slow response time and limited gaming features. It's decent for watching videos, mainly due to the large screen, but it doesn't look as good in a dark room due to its low contrast ratio. Finally, although it supports HDR, this adds very little due to the low contrast ratio, low peak brightness in HDR, and lack of a local dimming feature.

Native Contrast
1,283 : 1
Contrast With Local Dimming
N/A
Unfortunately, the LG 32QN55T has a mediocre contrast. It's only an issue if you plan on using it in a dark room, as blacks look gray in the dark.

Unfortunately, the LG 32QN55T-B has a mediocre response time when gaming

Just returned to Costco due to resolution. At the distance to the desk at about 30 inches, that was the first thing I noticed. Pretty sure a 43 inch 4k TV has more pixel density...

For programming and text work you really need 4k for a 32". qhd works great for 34" ultrawide and 24" to 27" normal aspect but things will be clearly pixellated with a 32" qhd. Generally costco's monitor selctions aren't great.

Same issue - the solution is a rotating monitor mount. Using these big ones in Portrait mode not only gives proper orientation for documents and web pages and photo-editing, but also allows vertical stacking of work-windows and better all-around perception of a big screen.
Rotating wall mounts are cheap. Just prop up your monitor sideways and go to Display Settings and change to portrait and see what I mean. There are also apps online to allow changing instantly from portrait to landscape when you want to game or etc.
Can you suggest apps that allow changing the orientation instantly? I know there's probably Display fusion, but that's expensive. looking for something free/cheap.
