So, if you get one that's over 2k hours, return it.
There were multiple defects on the screen. They didn't look like scratches, but more like wear in spots on the coating. Visible on dark scenes and when the set was off. The base also appeared used with some scratches, but I wasn't worried as they were on the back. I am going to return the one from today and will try again tomorrow. After that I'll just wait for the new ones to hit this price-ish.
I can deal with evidence of use anywhere but the screen. I figured a refurbished set would have a clean screen, but not so much. I forgot to check hours. Best of luck everyone in getting a good one - the price is right in my opinion.

I think ~25% savings is worth it if you still have a warranty and the product is over 90% life remaining. In this case it's more like 99% life remaining (considering OLED lifespan is 100k hrs)

Although from what I know that isn't the best area, and would think the returned merchandise may be in worse condition than I'd typically expect.
