I have something similar. It's just cheap material that they used. Installation can be delicate because it's all low quality. Kids will have fun until it breaks. Adults would easily break it. In my eyes, you get your money's worth in playing with it and then toss it in the garbage once it's done.

Don't even think about trying to dissemble it or moving it elsewhere. Once assemble and done, that's it! Have fun until it's done. Smilie

Looks like the only verified review is 1 star. But they also hired a "professional" to put it together which was probably just someone from angies list who came over with a hammer drill and stripped out all the screw holes. So who knows...

anyone have any comments on this? seems like good value but if its this cheap, theres gotta be a catch? is this literally for 3-5 yr old & needs to be babied pretty much to not fall apart?

Got it last year from local Walmart for $20. This is little hard to assemble but worth $50. Good for kids upto 16 years of age.

I am not sure what tools the professional brought but the item description clearly says tool-free assembly. Probably he ripped them good amount of money and just added some screws where it shouldn't be for the money they paid. 😂
I bought couple of these all in one sports from clearance and you get what you pay for. Like buy it for a birthday party or some get together and raffle it to a guest at the end. 😉

My neighbor hired someone to put together a bunch of IKEA stuff. He came over, tried to do it as fast as possible with power tools and all that jazz, ended up cracking all the pieces then complained that everything was poor quality. Nah, you just didn't do it right, clearly says "hand tighten only"

the material it's made out of is essentially hardboard pegboard which is like a very thin and flexible sheet of a mixture of pressed cardboard and wood -basically the stuff you hang up in your garage and put hooks in to hang stuff up on. in the heat of the game you will probably eventually lose your balance and try to catch yourself by leaning your hand on it with some force which will most likely crack it and that's how it usually ends for this thing.

My wife hired a "handyman" to assemble an Ikea pantry to save me the hassle. I noticed he put the back panel on backwards close towards the end so he spent another hour taking it apart and putting it back togerher. She felt bad so gave him another $25. After he left, she showed me the finished work. It was so uneven and unsteady that I had to take it apart and put it back together all over again.
