I know this is usually retails for 200+ but still expensive for oscillating tool.
Makita is far behind in the past year with good promos comparing their competitors.
Saying that, this is the best price for this tool since it was launched last year

I've heard good things about this OMT, other than the fact that you are required to use Starlock blades. Best individual price I've seen to date.

Placed my order, but it's not giving me an option to cancel the drill kit (or the multi-tool). Maybe it can't be canceled until they've processed the order at the store? No big deal -- worst case scenario, I just don't pick it up and they refund it after seven days. Just kinda weird. 🤷

It also doesn't allow me to do one for store pickup and one for delivery like it used to. Keep getting errors on checkout.

Yea the option to cancel didn't come up till the order was ready for pickup.

I wasn't able to do that either. I did 2 different pickup locations. U can change the pickup location for each tool in the cart

I have this oscillating tool. It's fantastic. Very low vibration.
I previously had a Dewalt Brushless XR which I thought was terrible (even though it had great reviews). Cut very slow & dulled blade teeth quickly.

Reason: Dewalt has a 1.6 degree oscillating angle vs. 3.2 degrees for Makita. This makes a huge difference in use.

I wonder if they've gotten wise to this workaround. My orders are ready for pickup, but there's still no option to cancel either one. Guess I'll go pick up the multi-tool and then call to cancel the other once I've got it.

EDIT: Even after picking up the multi-tool, there's still no option to cancel the rest. Ended up having to call the store, which wasn't a big deal but more hassle than expected. Just sharing this as a heads-up for others who might find themselves in a similar situation.

I love my Makita blower. but man it seems like you only see a few deals per year on other useful stuff (like String Trimmers etc). Ryobi, DeWalt, even Ego have way more deals.
I'm considering switching to Ryobi. Anyone not like Ryobi garden/outdoor tools compared to Makita (like the 40V vs Makitas LXTx2 36V )?

Agree with the promos, but this thing is worth it. The antivibration, power, and compact size are all best in class, period.

Couldn't you also just not pick it up so it will cancel on its own?

Yup. I said that in my earlier post in this thread. This way I know it's taken care of.
