Each item costs between $1.50 - $5 dollars more at Costco and Safeway using Instacart. Not sure that it's a slickdeal. I guess in a pinch it might be worth it, but those price premiums will stack up FAST.

The deal here is the free membership. Nobody said the prices on Instacart are a deal. You're paying extra for the convenience. Want to save a few bucks? Go get your groceries as usual then lol. To some their time is worth more than a few extra dollars.

Worked for me. CSR benefit was present in the Instacart + tab and able to be redeemed. Thanks, OP.

OP here, so here are some screen shots:

1) email confirming CSR benefit, interestingly showing that my 2 month free trial with costco will resume at the conclusion of the 12 months from chase, and I will qualify for the discounted $79 costco rate after the 14 months is up

2) my member management page showing I have 424 days left in my trial

3) member management page showing I turned off auto renew

Got another 6 months on a CSP, and I saw that a Freedom card had another 3 months. Hopefully I can use that one at the end of the year.

Nice! title says "free year (or 3-6 months) " and the duration depends on which card you have. CSR = 12, CSP = 6, etc.

worked but it replaced my trialsub ending 6/30 and just started a new 90 day trial, so i lost out on 14 days. i would advise those who have a longer trialsub or renewal date to do it later
