Each item costs between $1.50 - $5 dollars more at Costco and Safeway using Instacart. Not sure that it's a slickdeal. I guess in a pinch it might be worth it, but those price premiums will stack up FAST.

The deal here is the free membership. Nobody said the prices on Instacart are a deal. You're paying extra for the convenience. Want to save a few bucks? Go get your groceries as usual then lol. To some their time is worth more than a few extra dollars.

This page [instacart.com] seems to have the necessary info about the free Instacart+ via Chase cards. The length varies based on card. And there's no need to activate it today if you don't need to use it right away. The page says that the offer must be redeemed by July 31, 2024.

There are some stores that guarantee same In store prices, one example is sprouts. However you can't use sprouts coupons via instacart app. You can link your instacart membership into the sprouts app, and use coupons and instacart benefits that way.

Depends on where you are ordering from - I used to work in corporate for a national grocer which did markup prices to offset their own costs, but this is completely up to the grocer/merchant.

I like Sprouts for fresh fruits and vegetables, but I want to pick them out. I can't imagine having someone else do my grocery shopping.

I have used instacart multile times as incouldnt do grocery shopping myself.but one ocassion i spent 150 bucks in a supermarket. Then i entered all my items into instacart and the overprice was about 50 bucks more. Crazy
