I once tried price match the GS online prices with in store prices. GS customer service says I could with no issue. Go to one store and they tell me its not possible. Go to another store and the manager just told me to buy it online for pick up in store and they will adjust the price once the online order comes through. Moral of the story is, some care while most do not. Sad how this will disappear in a couple of years. I remember EBgames being amazing before this stupid franchise ruined it.

That's because all 3 departments have been running independently since when I issue with them since 2015. They outsource their customer service, online shopping belongs to IT department, and stores run by regional managers and have small space that they can't take big item returns. They never on the same page.

My local store is pretty good. The employees are friendly and always match the online prices. That said, I don't think they have very good deals and going Pro wasn't worth anything special. I'm finding better deals at Walmart, Amazon and Best buy.

Just hoping they give me a little extra for my GT7 trade in during these "Pro Days". Don't even see a price for it on their site at the moment

The sub costs 10 bucks and you get 5 off monthly that can be used for GC (eShop,PSN,etc.). So you get 50 bucks a year for free baseline out of it.

What king of "Pro Day" deals are on used games? I see a promotion for 4 for $19.99 now and wanted to do it, should I wait?

From my experience GS is just not efficient internally with many areas that require improvements to become profitable.
One thing is no free-shipping benefits to Pro members, I think the rationale is to drive more people to the stores which is very inconvenient to many and also due to the inefficiencies.
I once bought 3 games in order to satisfy the $35 shipping requirements and shocked that they shipped via UPS from 3 different locations. The shipping cost likely would have eaten away their profits. If they could improve their supply chain logistics and offer free shipping to Pro instead of the monthly $5 off discount they probably make more money.

Anyway I still look forward to Pro Days to see if any good deal to use my $5 certificate from my 5000 points. If I'm not mistaken I can't use the cert from points against any GCs...

Also, the loudest don't speak for everyone. I've always had very good interactions with store employees, but I do wish they offered free shipping….

I'm pretty sure if you go to any forum for any retail workers, you will find the exact same thing. I worked retail for 20 years and they always expect way more from you than is possible with low pay and high stress. It's not just gamestop. I have 2 gamestop stores in my area and honestly when I go in either one, I feel like the employees are knowledgeable and overall seem happy. Retail is tough, especially with the rough economic conditions of today's world and I honestly respect these people for doing a high stress, low pay, and low satisfaction job. They have a right to complain and those forums are the best place because everyone can relate.
Check the Costco sub, those people are pretty happy with everything. I've never spoken to a Costco employee that had anything truly bad to say about working for them.
