This is very nice and I think it's a good chance to apply. $200 is the maximum sign-up bonus so far for this card.
It has regularly $50-$150 sign-up bonus but $200 is usually offered at only limited times every year.

There's a chance you may get approved but unlikely. I'd skip the card if you don't pass the pre-qualification since you'd have a hard inquiry that would reduce your credit score.

This is actually a pretty good card. I do shop at Whole foods and just the Cashback from that covers prime membership. It also still has most of the better benefits that other cards have abandoned like extended warranty and car rental insurance.

Same with my Costco card and gas. The Cashback pays for the membership.

Our Prime is in my wifes name, and we have the Chase visa already in her name with me as an add on user., so I tried with my name and it was ok, the message said the $200 was in the account, and it was.

It did move the new card to the default payment position, but I fixed it back to the long established one.

I didnt want the card, just wanted $200 to to spend.

I applied last night, got to where it said they were reviewing application.

I had to call them this morning, they said they can instantly approve if I were to move some of my credit from my other credit cards (almost all of my credit cards are through Chase).

I opted to do that and got approved instantly over the phone, $200 came right then as well.
