You should receive a specific reason by secure message from chase or postal mail depending- or you can call recon and maybe still get approved if it was a reason you can work around (like needing to move around chase credit limits or them mistakenly counting an AU account as part of 5/24 or something)

How many cc have you applied for recently? According to credit karma I have 4 hard inquiries (refi and credit increase requests) and still got instant approval. Similar stats as you but no recent cc applications other than this one.
All banks have a set of rules on who they approve for what- and they're usually quite different from one bank to another.
A few of chases rules are 2/30-- which is they will reject any more than 2 applications within 30 days...
And 5/24-- which is they will reject all applications if you have opened 5 or more new accounts (with ANYONE- not just chase) in the last 24 months.
Those are the most common reasons people with otherwise "good" credit get turned out by Chase.
They're not the only ones... another is Chase will only extend you a certain total amount of credit- but in the past they were pretty generous with the lines they offered so if you'd previously had several $25,000 limit cards or something you might already be at the "max" even if you're in line with their other rules.... THIS one can be fixed by calling the reconsideration line, and offering to move some of your credit line to the new card.
5/24 can sometimes be "fixed" that way too if they're counting among the 5 something like you were added as an authorized user on someone elses card- you can often call and ask them what 5 cards they think you opened and when they get to one of those tell them you are not financially responsible for that card (since AUs aren't responsible for the charges, the primary user is)
Again these are chase-specific rules.... Amex, for example, uses TOTALLY different criteria.
But 5/24 especially is why if you're planning to churn through a lot of signup bonuses you usually want to START with:
Business cards first (these don't count against 5/24, though they will check your 5/24 status if you apply for a chase biz card)
Then: Personal chase cards (because you're locked ouf of them once you're over 5/24)
THEN other banks cards
