A 12/3 @ 100ft is good for 15 amps. But keep in mind you're running about a 5% voltage drop which is on the edge of acceptable. If whatever you are using is rated at 15 amps, inspect the device and extension cords during use and make sure you're not heating up. While a 12/3 @ 50ft is good to 20 amps, do not use a 20a device with both extension cables.
Anything 13 amps and under should be a-ok but check things out before you trust an internet stranger.
Also...consider some method to secure the joined ends like an extension cord connector.
