My dad has had this exact set for 10 years in our man man cave. It's actually very very good quality. I can't overstate that enough. He bought it second hand and I'm actually shocked to see it on here i always figured it was from some high quality company. At this price its a steal!

OP say pool table with dartboard $500. Still a bad deal because junk quality but at least post it in a way that makes sense.

So tired of these "staff" posts lasting forever vs normal users with actually good unsponsored deals

It doesn't look bad for a $400 pool table, but if you're expecting a good quality table for that price, you've obviously never shopped or had a good pool table, lol.

The box was torn in a few places but there was another box on the inside which was not damaged. Assembly of this two tiered table took quite some time (about 5 hours) because the Billiard Table itself was comprised of about 59 different pieces and I found it best to assemble from the bottom up. While I agree about shill staff deals we have had this same pool table for ~12 years and it has lasted through 2 moves and while it's not a pro table by any means it is level and is fun to play. We got ours at WMT after Christmas that year for $75. We don't take pool seriously.

Not sure what pool tables go for now but you could do worse, I had a few similar ones that were smaller and had terrible canvas-like "felt" and were oddly uneven and played terribly. (Ironically I DID put one of those in a single-wide per the other comments - though that was not a residence - and it was too big for the space.)

Nothing in the description mentions slate. If you want to get a pool table these days you're better off getting one second hand. You may even find one for free that someone is trying to get rid of. You may have to have someone install it for you but at least it will have a real slate play field vs this plywood junk.

Just be sure to factor in the cost of the professional mover / installer. They don't come cheap.

I second the recommendation to find a used slate table secondhand. They show up on Craigs and Face at intervals. But you do need a mover/installer - so check that out first. I was lucky to find a decent local installer that picked it up at seller's house, then properly leveled and assembled at mine - that was a couple hundred bucks and I think we were all in for around 1150 on a very good condition 9' table. Has turned out to be a great family fun game that's remained popular with our gang and the older kids use it when they come home as well. Any investment that can actually create family bonding with teenagers is a win in my view Smilie

The corner pockets are little weak, if you put weight on them they will fall apart. Other than that it's good table.
