Seems like a good price. Costco had the slightly better X60 (which has 6 bands compared to 4 on this one) for $200 for 3 pack. If you don't need 3, then this seems like a good deal.

I tried these, but they didn't have the options I was looking for, mainly the ability to filter traffic from devices. If you are looking for advanced features, I would steer clear. These seemed to be designed for the "easiest setup" crowd.

Thanks, good to know. I ordered one for pickup and will test it out and report back.

It will fluctuate in price every few days. I watched it for a week or two before pulling the trigger last week. Upgraded from a Netgear Nighthawk AX1800 M63 and couldn't be happier. I was having constant connection issues and slow speeds but no such issues with TP Link on a gig connection.

If you can use 3, I'd get the Costco X60 as stated above tho.

Go wired or go home Haha. Jk. But if I needed wired speeds, I would just wire it. My $39 router does 4 Fortnite players at a time wirelessly with that cheap ass router.

Hmm... this was showing up for $151 earlier today and now it's showing $123.41 (64154) . You might want to check again if your store was still showing $151. Here's the BrickSeek link, but it seems to be b0rked. I'm assuming this is a Walmart promo since it's available at the neighborhood markets also?

A real router + WiFi 6E AP.
For instance, Ubiquiti edgerouter, or those open source soft router.

This way, you have the freedom to use whichever WiFi tech, then still have the core control on a dedicated router

I have a TP link router that's been pretty good in the house but need something for the patio and BBQ area. I already have a Netgear R7000 thats already bridged...Is this bridgeable or do I have to use this as my only router?

I kinda prefer asus routers since they got dns over TLS and many more.

I bought this back in January. The price jumps between $124-$151 sporadically. This was my first time getting into mesh networking and so far I love it! One network name across the house that supports both 5 and 2.4ghz. It has also been super reliable. I'm sure there are better routers out there but these do a great job at this price.
