That may not be a problem for you, but it is for me and unfotunatley I only found it out after porting my number over on a 3 month plan ($30 from Best Buy last month, so not as good as this deal!)
My advice is virtual card to be safe. Also, unless they recently changed it - your plan activates right away after purchase unless your port in.

Mind you, people have been experiencing issues even when their phones are perfectly capable: https://www.reddit.com/r/BoostMob..._sca
Boost (Dish Network) needs to know that you can't rush customer acquisition and profits by scamming customers out the gate. They need to build trust. Good reputation goes a long way.
It wasn't just Boost that was impact, other MVNO's were as well... as were some of AT&T;s own prepaid customers. That said, you're service is with Boost, it's their job to fix it.
Will not SIM lock your incompatible phone; it just won't work nor activate.
5G units will not be able to access 5G at this time however.
Unlimited Talk, Text, & 5GB 5G/4G LTE per month
FREE SIM Kit ($9.99 value)
FREE Shipping ($4.99 value)
Includes Mobile Hotspot
Works on Most Unlocked GSM Phones
This works on Boost Mobile's Expanded Data Network

For your first 3 months of service, 5GB plan for $5/mo. is billed for $15. After your first 3-months, 5GB plan is billed for $45 every 3 months
They need to change that line. Expanded network is definitely Tmobile. This is confirmed.
Thanks for the heads up. I would not consider using Tmobile network.

I do have the unlimited plan Boost deal and can confirm it's on the AT&T network.

I asked them to switch to AT&T service. (I have both sims, and where I am ATT has better service.)
They looked up my IMEI and told me my phone is not compatible with AT&T. My phone is an unlocked phone and is supposed to work with all carriers.
This is supposed to go on for a while. No official end date. Probably through July.

Unlimited is $25/mo, paid monthly, or $40/mo for 2 lines - tax inclusive price. Second monthly free. 👀

Hard-capped data was this plan's only weakness outside the horrible website.
What an amazing response to Mint Mobile's recent $15/mo promotion! This is a smoking hot deal!
EDIT: Website has been updated. No 2G data after 5GB allotment.

However, your place Hello Mobil is also pretty cheap now for two months, because they seem to be offering the 2nd month free.
