PSA: Better Homes and Gardens suspending SOME free subs.

A few friends and I have been getting postcards this week from Better Homes and Gardens stating that "Due to limitations on inventory availability we will be suspending delivery of the print editions of your Better Homes and Gardens subscription."

It seems this is for people with free/promo subs only (one friend with a paid sub has not seen this postcard.) We all live in California so maybe it is regional; I don't know. I have never seen anything like this before, I had 3 years left on my sub.

They have offered six months of the digital mag for free. Eff that. MadMadMad

I got the same postcard in NY so it's not regional, maybe just us with the free subs.

Sorry to hear that! Plus I used Recyclebank points for some of the sub so I am bummed.
I hope others don't follow suit. I love my free mags!

I got same notice several weeks ago (Iowa). Not a fan of digital subscriptions, especially when I prefer to recycle magazines for others to enjoy!

I sent an email stating I don't use a digital device to read anything and would prefer to have the print edition. I received an email back saying they would restart my subscription as of August 2022. I do receive a free subscription. FYI in case someone would like to contact them.

I don't see an email in my "Sent" folder. This means went to the BH&G website, pulled up my account (I think I used my name and address to do that), and then contacted Customer Service through the website.

This is the email they used when they sent me the email saying they'll continue print for me:

To reiterate, I have a free subscription. Smilie

I also have a free sub (and so do quite a few of my family members). I asked at our Father's Day Celebration, and nobody has received a postcard (so far?).

Due to magazines ceasing publication these past few years...I had so many years added to BHG. Thankfully you can move some of those issues to other publications, if you so desire. Just send a message to customer service, and make the request.

Postcard arrived today … emailed them … maybe they just wanted to see if real ppl would respond instead of letting subscription go

I just followed the link posted above to login to my account and it said delivery was suspended. I just hit the Unsuspend option and looks like physical delivery is back on. That was easy! No need to email or message anyone!
