I've been using T-fal pans as long as I can remember.

What was I saying?

just lol, Chinese don't make sht. Cost vs quality are controlled/ordered by the US company. I keep laughing those who keep focusing on politics rather than the "deal" or product! Can you just trash everything made in China in your house or just want be silly?

You are correct. Had a pan where a hole burned right thru the bottom. Unreal. You have to get the right ones, some are very thin now

I have purchased these, and nice for the price but cheaper for a reason. Not nearly as heavy as pre-China. Just standard kitchen ware now, what use to be the best is no more

anything wrong that made in China?

All Clad makes good quality cookwares, but I forgot you can only afford $2-40 stuffs. Then why you complaining their quality is not as good as $2-300 ones.

Do yourselves a favor and buy individual pans instead of these sets. Higher quality per purchase and you only get what you need.

As for nonstick, you shouldn't be cooking with them except for delicate things like eggs and fish. I only have a Tramontina Pro 8 in. and 10 in. nonstick pan for those duties (good in oven up to 400F too). Only use wood or silicon tools with the pans and as soon as you see any scratches or scrapes in the bottom of the pan, it's time to replace them. Never preheat the pans without anything in them (fats etc.) before using them. You can read about the materials used in these pans and why they can be very dangerous. If you want a little more drama and sensationalism, watch the movie Dark Waters (excellent Mark Ruffalo movie about the Teflon/poly industry). You don't necessarily have to get rid of nonsticks altogether but you do need to respect them and use them properly.

For all other duties I have All Clad D3's, cast irons, and some carbon steel pans.
