Sorry but why is it a crappy tv? Is there any other 4k 120hz tv at this price?
What makes it a crappy tv? Any reviews to back that up?
I'm sure you are trolling. I have this tv and it its great for the price. You do have to update the firmware day one. The picture was grainier than normal on YouTube until I updated it but the 4k content was gorgeous for an LED. To say it's crappy is very misleading. If you were expecting an oled or qled that cost much more thats on you.

Don't know about the newer LG but the ones I bought from Costco 5 yrs ago sucks. Lg's YouTube app sucks balls, can never stream and is slower than molasses. Can't clear the cache to reset it either. And both WiFi and Ethernet can only do 10mbps Max! What the f..

Not buying a LG again. Will go back to Samsung
I agree on Samsung. I have both Samsung and LG. Did you try updating the firmware on your LG? Old operating systems sometime just don't work well anymore Even with an update.

This TV does not have local dimming, correct? The Toshiba FireTV m550KU for $550 seems to be a better one.

But it has zero hdmi 2.1 port, which means it cannot output 4k and 120hz at the same time.

Just curious, did you send back Fedex? Does Samsung pay for return shipping? Did you like the Serif otherwise?
I set it up. The thing was a monster and the heaviest thing ever.
But it looked solid. Didn't get to watch anything bc it was in basement with no wifi.
But the build and screen, interface seemed fantastic.

Had no choice but to send it back bc, again no Ethernet port!
How can u make a tv in 2022 with no ethernet on a 1500 dollar tv!!

Samsung sent return shipping label via Fedex freight bc it was within 15 days of delivery.
Had to call Fedex to arrange pickup.

I agree with that. It is irrelevant in my case because the local dimming makes the black black, no gray spot anywhere is supposed to be black. In addition, the FireOS long-term support sold me. If you like FirOS, it is a no brainer.

I'm pretty sure if you buy a lower-end Samsung it will suck balls just as much if not more.

Of course, and it's preferable. The idea that I can buy a media player with better proc, RAM and storage to stay current is way more important to me.

Will this be good for stocks and watching charts? Or should I go with the below that another member recommended.

If you are setting your money on fire the glare may make it difficult to see this tv.

I prefer and actually love IPS panels for my TVs over VA panels that just doesn't look right to me. If the price is for 75" I'll immediately place the order!

I'm with ya. When you look at the IPS LGs in Walmart, Target and Costco they always look a lot more crisp with better colors compared to the budget VA panels mounted next to them. That doesn't change when you get them home even when viewing in a dark room.
