YES! if you let it expire (so that you are no longer a current/existing member), you would want to do this:

Buy 9 of the 3 month codes for somewhere under $70, then convert all that Live Gold time into Game Pass Ultimate for 14.99. That's 3 years for under $85.

The max amount of time you can convert is 36 months. 9x3=27, get 9 free months this way:

Redeem 3 mos, get a free month for enabling recurring billing. = 4
Disable recurring billing.
Redeem 3 mos, get a free month for enabling recurring billing. = 8
Disable recurring billing.
Redeem 3 mos, get a free month for enabling recurring billing. = 12
Disable recurring billing.

repeat 6 more times to max out @ 36 mos. (buy 27 mos, get 9 free)

AFTER accumulating the time you purchase, then convert to GPU. If you convert to GPU first, your subsequent 3 month codes will only get you the 50 days each.

If my current ultimate sub is close to ending, I should wait until it does , and then use the 1:1 conversion trick instead , right ? So I'd get 90 days of ultimate in exchange for 90days of gold instead of the 50 days of ultimate for 90 days of gold here, right ?

Just added about 17 months to my GPU. If my math is correct, it ends up costing about $4.40 per month of GPU. I did have to make multiple orders and change payment methods for the last order, but this is a pretty slick deal. Thanks OP!

Hmm, I grabbed a couple, but if I wait about a month I could probably get it stacked higher when my gamepass expires. I'm just worried about these codes possibly not working after a month?
Has anybody ever had issues with cdkeys codes not working if you wait over a month to actually redeem em?

Bought 2. Tried another transaction but they wouldn't let me buy anymore with that card. So far I have had success with 2 different cards and one PayPal payment.

Should note that the 1:1 conversion offer is highly YMMV, at least to the point of WHEN you will get the offer. My wife had to wait 3-4 months after her sub ended for it to work. Also, the extra month for recurring billing is YMMV as well. It's only worked for me once, and that was years ago.

That said, even without expiration and billing, it ends up pretty cheap. I re-upped via Eneba for a few bucks less to 3 years, as I don't have the patience or time to be drinking around with the waiting game.

1:1 conversion works for anyone that does not have an active GPU subscription, new joining members and expired members. Not YMMV at all. Getting the GPU offer for $1 is YMMV if you have done it in the past, as is the free month for turning recurring billing on.

Yes I did this step get 36 months gold with only paying for 27 months and 9 months free. You can save a bit of you get game pass ultimate for 1 month .. I got for like 9 bucks. I got it from Eneba incase ppl are wondering.

So are there no repercussions for turning off recurring billing? It seems they will force me to switch from ultimate to another membership if I do based on the website...
