I looked at my account and now recall that this additional discount is due to this being a discount benefit through my employer. That's where the "private store exclusive price" is coming into play.
We can argue a bit on pricing. So 1045-965 = 80, for their Omen case, their fans, and mother board.
HP had a sale every week the last 3 weeks on Omens. They must have a lot of inventory to clear, just like the rest of the sellers.
I would say hold - this sale is fine, but it doesn't jump out at me. Im hoping the thermals on the 40L are better than the 25L.

That current Dell deal is $1568 with a 1 tb ssd instead, but ho hdd. The Dell computer also carries only a 550w PS.
