I bought these on sale from Sam's several months ago to try and see how the "name brand" compares to the Member's Mark ones. I have to say these things are trash (pun intended). The string breaks from the bag relatively easily whether the string itself snaps or the little tunnel it hides in tears. The Member's Mark bags are far superior.

Probably got a bad batch. I bought these when they went on sale a few months back. Zero issues, even when jam packed with trash. Have yet to have a single one's string tear off when carried by them.

I agree with these trash bags being garbage. Never tried Member's Mark. We usually buy this brand from Ollie's. She still buys them and ask's me of a better trash can liner. Yet she still buys them to this day. I dunno.

Agree that the members mark versions are very good. Sadly I remember them being around $14 or so for 200 not that long ago, sad to see that inflation is hitting so hard so fast. I don't know if Sam's has periodic coupons on theses, they used to.

Great buy now that Target doesn't carry these unscented odor blocking trash bags.

Alternative for the lazy near Wal-Mart are the Hefty unscented odor blocking.

Unless you're really into Glad brand, it seems like ~.09-.10 per bag is regularly available at many different stores. Everyday price of Moxie 13 gal trash bags at Lowe's is $18.48 for 180. In my experience they are equivalent in quality and you can usually find Lowe's gift cards for 10%+ off to make them even cheaper.
