Usually the extra tools are old non fuel junk. This is by far the best combo when it comes to "free" tools. The 1/2 impact is a decent deal at $120-150 and the ratchet usually goes for about the same price as the impact. Generally to get those prices it will be a hack but considering fuel ratchet or fuel 1/2 impact has not been part of any hack deal this is actually quite slick.

Good deal , but the impact gun is 3/8" not 1/2" anvil which kind of ruins it for some.

This seems like a better deal (more useful tools) than the 1/2" with blower deal. 3/8" vs 1/2" is almost negligible at this size (some even prefer 3/8" for stubby).

I used that function to drill a bunch of holes into concrete for a deck anchor with a masonry bit and was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked.

Thanks for the feedback. I have to wonder where the limit is of this model vs even a cheap 18-20v unit.

I don't know the particular specs of this drill, but having used a variety of hammer drills and SDS drills over the years, until you get to really large holes, it is usually not much of a question of will it drill the hole, but how long will it take to drill it.

If I'm anchoring sill plates for an addition or a shed or drilling a hole big enough for some pipes to pass through, I'll grab the SDS every time. But if I just need to throw in a few small anchors, a little hammer drill is just fine.
