Not strong, but has its use case. Got it a while back for camping, among the many other lights we bring, and stopped bringing it.
Its too soft and doesnt throw much light compared to others that dont require D batteries or are rechargeable from a portable power supply. It's fine if you want to use it in close quarters and dont want to be blinded.
