I thought this had always been $40. I bought it at this price months ago. Solid air fryer with fast preheating time and very easy to clean which is the most important thing. Has a memory for the last-used temperature and time, I leave mine on 15 minutes @ 400° for anything. Once you start the cooking, you can adjust the timer, and once the food is done, it will reset back to your original 15 mins. It will only change the memory if you make adjustments BEFORE you start cooking, which is very useful. Great product and thoughtfully designed.

Used it a few times and the non stick started to peel off a little bit on mine

I agree. I have the 8qt version (the GAF838). Has held up great and performs fantastically, no issues. This 7qt version appears to have the same interface. I got mine for $49 during black friday 2020, so I feel like $39 for one slightly smaller during the inflationary period we're currently in is an awesome deal.

I thought this had always been $40. I bought it at this price months ago. Solid air fryer with fast preheating time and very easy to clean which is the most important thing. I have the 8 quart. The nonstick on the crisper tray peeled off, and then started to rust, so I tossed the crisper tray in the garbage. Now the inside appears to be peeling. I might have been too rough cleaning it (Dish soap and scrubbing pad) but I do not recommend this brand. I've only had for 6 months.

The pre heat on this is super annoying. Takes a long time to warm up. My ninja fryer gets to work immediately.
