I kinda wanna get this to go to the drive in. Right now we just use my truck bed air mattress. This is stepping it up a notch

If just a 1/2 ton pickup and filling bed with water and people, suggest using some jack stands under back axles. Otherwise, the back bumper will be on the ground.

Seeing as payload for recent model half tons is about 2500-3200 lbs and according to the dimensions of this pool you'd be lucky to get 250 gallons in there. 250 gallons @ 8lbs pg = is about 2000lbs. Add 4 adults and you'll probably hit 2500 but won't get to 3000lbs unless you're adding 250lb adults in which case you'll be displacing much of that water. You'll be fine with a half ton (unless you got a Ram 🤣)

Alright I guess I'll be the guy. Yes I have this. I bought it when the whole Covid thing started. Couldn't find a kiddie pool anywhere in site and we were entering summer. Bought this instead and it worked very well. People talking about the payload, I have a 2019 ram 1500, first off you aren't driving anywhere with this thing filled. Second, you don't fill it even close to the top. My truck has been just fine and I used this several times (albeit a very classy affair) in the front yard with a table setup, cooler packed, speaker jamming and some pins coladas. Knock it all you want we enjoyed ourselves
