You need each stage to move up to the next one. Stage 1 comes with all of the blocks to 50 lbs, the other two sets add on to it.

Thanks OP. I've been watching daily for this so I could order Stage 2 & 3. I got Stage 1 just over a month ago and I'm very impressed so I want the complete set. I might not ever even need stage 3 but I will certainly reach 2.

I bought these plus the two expansions for almost full price elsewhere (minus $60). Would've loved this deal. If you are on the fence, hop off and buy them all. There is a con like you can't get a full wrist range of movement but that can also be seen as a pro. Also it's easier to grab one powerblock using two hands using two of the outside 'frame handles'

Thanks OP. I've been watching daily for this so I could order Stage 2 & 3. I got Stage 1 just over a month ago and I'm very impressed so I want the complete set. I might not ever even need stage 3 but I will certainly reach 2.

If you do lower body exercises with dumbbells, you certainly will work up to stage 3.

I will ALWAYS recommend these over other adjustable weights because of the expansions. If you take your workouts seriously you will need the expansions within a year. And within another year you will need the next expansion. Of course time frame will vary. My point is these will last you longer than the others.

If anyone is curious about these and the elite usa vs exp since both of these models tend to pop up on woot.

As a counter point, I have the EXP and my brother-in-law has the elite USA, and I prefer the grip on the EXP. I have larger hands, and the EXP fills my hand better. I also like the EXP's auto lock function on the internal weights.
