LG makes a stand that they sell separately for it. It's $99 or thereabouts, if I recall correctly. At least such is/was the case for the 77" GX (vs. G1). I don't remember what the model of it was.

It includes a proprietary wall mount ... and this is designed to be a "gallery" mount / flush mount install. Not saying you can't put it on a stand, but... that's one of the "premium" features about this vs. the C series.
Understood. Appreciate it.

Any stand compatible with this? Stand not included in box and I'm having a hard time finding one online
If you're looking to get a stand you'd be better off with the C1.

My pleasure. If you do opt to wall mount it with the included mount, you'll need at LEAST two people. I recommend three (one on each side and one eyeballing things from the front to help guide you in). It's super hard to "hit the marks" (both on the vertical plane and horizontal plane) when you can't see what you're doing (due to the very minimal gap).

We used some tape on the wall straight up from the "notches" in the mount... and then also had tape coming up from the back of the TV where the "buttons/hooks" are at. By lining up the tape, it gave us a ballpark from left to right as to where we should be. The TV itself isn't really that heavy, but when you're playing the guessing game as to where to rest it in the mount, it gets fatiguing pretty quickly.

I suspect we will see 77 inch oled at 65 price range as soon as July 4th
We have seen them drop $100 here and there over the last year or so. What makes you suspect it will drop $1k in the next 2 weeks?

Damn, I can't believe the pricing on these now. I would def pull trigger on it at this price point but I might be moving soon so best to wait until I'm settled into a new place.

I have the 77" GX (man cave) and the 77" CX (livingroom). The GX was a major pain in the butt to wall mount. We wall mounted the CX as well, but it was much easier since there's a lot more room to "see" behind the TV as you're trying to mount it. The G series is super thin and mounts flush against the wall.

You probably won't be able to get a C series much cheaper, but if you don't need REALLY thin... or want it on a stand, you'll want the C series. They're TYPICALLY cheaper (but again, at this price, you'd be hard pressed to find a C outside of Microcenter deals for cheaper).

I think this G1 features the Evo panel which is supposedly better with brightness levels which is the only real knock (by some) against OLED panels.

Also, great price. I've yet to see a G1 (or even a GX) new at this price point.
Fyi all 77 a80j, c1, and g1 have evo panels but they do not advertise as such. However I'm sure they gimp the C1 a tiny bit to give slight edge to the g1. Supposedly the evo panels should offer improved lifespan for the panel though.

I've gotten rejected before because my credit was frozen at the time. Have them try it again, they've changed the process...a few simple questions and instant approval (for me at least).

Man I'm pissed. I have the C1 77 at like 1800 from microcenter and I'm out of the return period. Should have waited... oh well. Enjoying it now so all good... I guess.

You can turn the C1 to a G1 with same brightness per AVSfourm, makes this G1 not that great a deal as getting C1, wish I could find C1 77 in stock in SoCal need me for 1799

Thanks I'll look into it. I usually watch at night only so, shouldn't be a big deal. Plus I think the g1 does not come with a stand.

Can you put this on a standard mount?
