It works really well, holds the net nice and firm, it's quick and easy to set up (much easier than the previous one we had with extension poles and tie-down cords)...
An added bonus, is that with this being a self contained unit, it can be easily turned/moved to reposition if for shade/wind/whatever...(or move it out of the way as a unit to mow the lawn and then quickly and easily move it back)...
The legs are shock-corded tubular steel though, so it will get rust if left out in the rain/sprinklers...
I'd buy again in a heartbeat...lots of outdoors fun for a low price...I'm not expecting a professional unit that would last a lifetime at this pricepoint

In for the 16.5' one (regulation appears to be 20').
Worked for me.

The cheapest rackets I see on Amazon are $20 for 2, and then add ~$20 for this net so we're up to $40 to play. I see full sets (4 rackets, shuttlecocks, and a net) for ~$50… so perhaps it's smarter to buy a set then this net and rackets individually to allow 4 players simultaneously.
