The $9 xl towels are great for adults. We have these $3 standard towels for the kids.

Not a fan! They are ok, but I got the Costco ones for $2 more and the fluffiness and comfy wrap is amazing. I guess these are ok for my long hair.

The target towel brand to keep an eye out for is Fieldcrest. Those are some quality towels. In a pinch the Charisma brand ones at Costco will do just fine.
