Last time a deal was posted for BR Factory I order around $200 worth stuff. Hated the fit and quality ended up returning all of it. What a waste of time. They really reduced the quality now its closer to Old Navy.

In the last 10-15 years, major clothing retailers shifted their strategy to make cheaper-quality product sold through their outlet channels. The general public still thinks outlet stores are mainly used to sell discontinued styles, but that is not the case. In other words, BR Factory outlet is generally lower quality (more like Old Navy) whereas the main BR stores are still higher quality (and higher prices - always wait for the big sales).

In summary, I highly recommend against buying anything from factory outlet stores (including JCrew, Gap, BR, etc.).

Banana Republic return policy sucks. They charge you $7 for returns unless you bring to a brick and mortar location.

I like banana republic, but I feel like I've had issues in the past with clothes from their factory shrinking or seeming like they were lower quality. Not sure if it's just my imagination, this seems like a solid deal but I think I may stick with their regular store.

I second on the high quality for their dress shirts. However, I would not get any of their dark colored dress shirt. The quality is nice and thick, however, darker colors seem to be easily washed off around the wrist and neck area. Over time, the faded color around these areas make the shirt look overused. Their white dress shirt is nice, after numerous washes, it still feel and look nice.

I had the exact opposite experience with the last sale to be honest. I bought about 5 or 6 items and am very pleased. Some short sleeve button downs for the summer, a pair of chinos, and some soft wash ts for about 150 bucks.

The link OP posted for returns doesn't exist. Someone mentioned returns are not allowed on clearance items. Another person mentioned $7 returns via shipping

Ones that can be are not applicable to these sales

Of course if it says " Final Sale" its assumed it can not be return for any reason. I would bet though if there is a defect or tear they'd take it back. You may just have to reach out to their CS.

Agree, but just want to add that some store like express still have original store clothes in their outlet. However, they are like 30% of the merchandise only. You can usually tell by looking at the back tag logo, usually outlet will have extra stars or diamonds shape below the brand name
