FYI, this is the max that a chest freezer of this size is allowed to consume per US Department of Energy Regulations. So if you're looking for something energy efficient, this isn't it.

That said, just getting the right freezer size for your needs will save you a lot of energy/$. So buying this less efficient model would be better than buying a 12 cu.ft. more efficient model if you really only need 7 cu.ft. of space.

Bought a very similar one from Walmart a few months ago for $180 and free shipping. It's now over $200.

I think it's max power consumption is 77watt. It run more often than I'd like. So far so good. Doesn't seem it have a major impact on my electric bill.

I have this freezer and it's great. Got it about 3 years ago when they did some crazy deal for $99 and free delivery. I'd gladly spend $200 for it if I needed another. I've noticed no impact(that I can tell) on my electric bill in a hot Florida garage. Only thing I'd watch out for, is the interior can dent easily if you are rough/accidentally placing heavy items with sharp corners in it. We've saved so much money being able to stock up when there are deals on food. Thing has easily paid for itself many times over.

Got one of these as soon as they were available after the first wave of the pandemic shut down supply, summer 2020. Decent freezer. Note: it will need defrosting periodically. Haven't had to yet. Probably will before the end of the year. Sure helped while shopping trips were down to once every two weeks. Paid over $300. Well worth it...then. BTW: Did a store pickup. Most cars can't handle it.

Mine broke within 4 months and someone was returning the same one while I was there too. Stay away from this.

I did a store pickup at bestbuy in fall of 2020, and managed to tie my Ford Fiesta hatchback down with a bungee. It's worked great for me and been reliable.
