I just saw these available at my local Costco, today. They are priced $499 currently. Expect Costco to put them on sale soon. Reviews are good on Amazon.

If it's what I saw earlier in the week, that model is 35" and it's on sale for $420 ($499 retail)

Thats a 35" model, and there were on sale for 350 until 6/12. Used the Groupon deal to get a year of Costco membership for $60 (with 10% back w/ Chase CC offer) along with $40 digital GC and $40 off of $250, which covered the taxes (total was 343). So far so good, except for my desk mount. Luckily, the included stand is not too bad

Costco [lg.com] model is 100Hz while the Amazon [lg.com] posting is 144Hz. Personally, I'd take the 144 for less.

How are the colors on this monitor for photo/video editing? Many of these "deals" use a color science made for gaming and not true accurate colors for editing.

I would like the best of both but I can deal with ips contrast as you do not notice it in games.... Smearing you can notice. I guess it's what you feel is most important.
