So it will at least alert me when the sump seal fails after a couple years and stars spewing water underneath where you won't see it? I'd rather they fix the design flaw first. Hopefully they did.

Agree, I had the worst experience with whirlpool 3 level one that came for 500 a year and half ago... while the extended warranty has been good, the parts keep breaking.... the repair is outsourced to local vendors who have a 4 day sla so essentially its about 10 days to fix it...guy comes, check and confirms, orders parts, comes again with parts to fix....

There are good brands and models for every other appliance but for dishwashers, I recommend only going with Bosch. Esp since Maytag isn't what they used to be

I can confirm. Its not the same maytag any longer. And yes wp dishwashers r the worst on the industry. When I work at hq we ecen recommend others, especially bosch, to others. Thats how bad the product is.

Yes, I am in market for dishwasher and looking for Bosch based on reviews and recommendations. But costco (or SAMS or BJs) doesn't have Bosch. HD, bestbuy.com or Lowes sell them and would cost about $150 extra for installation. Not sure why Costco doesn't sell Bosch 😞
