I've owned this for years. It's bean a very solid tool. Use it all the time. Plunging into 6 inches of dirt to cut out stumps, cut 1/4 inch steel. Good blades and good batteries are your friend. Only down side is the pistol grip shape. Makes it harder to use than your typical straight shaped ones, in tighter spaces.

I bought this tool last year for $150. It's one of my favorites and my go-to for cutting through branches, roots, etc. Highly recommend it!

This is a phenomenal reciprocating saw. I don't even bother reaching for my heavy-duty plug-in bosch anymore even if I'm working next to an outlet. I gifted one to my dad and he said that this was the best reciprocating saw he's used in his 60yrs as a fireplace installer.

This is the lowest price I've seen on this and am now thinking if I should buy it to gift to somebody else at this price.

If you steal catalytic converters, remember, it'll take 10 jobs just to pay for this one tool. It's just not worth it. Get a regular job.

Yes! I've been using a corded Bosch with extension cords for trimming trees for years. I always get nervous that I might accidentally cut a wire while I'm in a tree 🤣. I've been window shopping the Makita saws ever since I got their little impact driver a few months ago. Just wasn't sure if I'd regret the different body style. But I def feel better about pulling the trigger on this deal now!

I use this 1 handed half the time. So I could definitely see this being useful up in a tree where it might be good to have a free hand.

Update: And a couple hours later it's $119.95. Both prices are Toolup seller. Check it frequently if you still want the deal I guess.

This is back now at $115.28.
