I keep putting a 3070 in my cart and changing my mind. 4000's will be released soon. I currently have 2080 super and the less impulsive decision would be to wait. Oh well, no dopamine for me today

I would wait but expect delays and also if you want the higher end models power usage sounds to be nuts.

3080 last week and 3070 this week. Over an hour after drop and they are still available. Am I dreaming? Good luck to others.

Those are basically the same card aren't they? I have a 3070. It's great but - you seem to be staying almost level there. Waiting makes a lot more sense .

I did the same thing, had it ready for checkout and have been wanting the 3070 FE..... but I've waited this long and I'm willing to wait a get a 4070. Still using my 1070 for now.

Feels weird to have it ready and pass on it.

Same. Chugging along fine on a 1070. So tempting to just grab the 3070 but I just can't do it lol. Maybe Black Friday will be interesting...

I should have sold both my stocks and GFX cards while we were in a bubble. Lesson learned.

Retailers will soon have to clear stock of 30 series to accommodate 40 series inventory, and crypto mining is dead for the foreseeable future. Prices are forecast to drop further to well below MSRP on the 30 series, peaking (or troughing rather) with the release of the mainstream 40 series cards (4080-4060). Even if you don't want a 40 series card, you'll likely save $100+ by waiting for fall.
