Yeah I don't get the comments on all these posts. I buy food items from Amazon every month for like 5 years now and have had maybe one or two issues over the years.

Everytime i buy a discounted food item from amazon/slickdeal its nearly expired. Anyone know if this is likely the same situation? I cAnt eat 6 bags of granola in 1 mo.

Uhhh... If it's expired or near expired, you just get into a chat with Amazon for a refund. No problem.

Don't buy these from Amazon. They will be expired or close to. I opened a non-expired bag and it tasted of actual dust.

Amazon has gotten so bad in the last couple of years, their customer service is among the worst now, and I am looking to shop anywhere else possible ongoing.

Food would be the last thing I purchase from amazon, especially given the stories of people dumpster diving for food behind grocery stores, and then sending it in to amazon to be resold. No way...

That's why I stopped buying food from Amazon's S&S. Specially coffee.
I always got skunk coffee.

*Cue the guy claiming that they never ever had an issue with Amazon food and every item was fresh as a daisy.

Yeah, food is the easiest thing to get a refund on. I have had to on many S&S purchases when the food comes all destroyed because they put all my items in one large box and one of the items is a 20lb bag of cat food. So the cat food desintegrates everything else bouncing around. Quick message and all damaged stuff is refunded. I'm pretty sure they know what they're doing and don't care about the 'breakage'
