Wouldn't really recommend this.
The newer 2021 model with 11th Gen i5 processor, QHD+ 16:10 screen, and 512GB of storage has gone for $499 a few times.
For just $100 more you'd be getting a massive upgrade in almost everything. The difference in i5-10 and i5-11 is significant enough to be clearly noticed and so is in the Intel Iris Xe vs UHD with this one, as well as between the display panels.

Max 8gb ram so seems not upgradeable. Still great specs for this price. Even has thunderbolt 3. Would like to know more about the screen but nothing in the description. Just that it's an IPS screen. No color gamut or brightness info.

What about this one?
Apparently you even posted it previously!
Swear it was just in stock @$399, will stalk it...
Seems phenomenally priced for the specs, can't make out what years release it is though.
+not seeing QHD 16:10 you claimed https://www.ebay.com/p/15046139788

That's the 11th Gen. It's a random seller that charges a restocking fee of 10-50%. Not sure it's worth the hassle, not to mention there will be no warranty since it's not bought from a certified retailer. I'd wait for a deal from a real online retailer or Walmart.
Basic computer. Don't expect anything more than office/school work, web browsing, and streaming shows and movies. Not good for gaming. 11th gen is okay for light gaming.
11th gen smokes this and 12th gen smokes 11th gen.
This does let you use as a tablet and includes an active stylus. So bonus. Plus, since the cpu is low power, you should get decent battery life.
I bought this about 2 years ago. Great laptop for the price and features. Right size, 2 in 1 touchscreen, stylus pen and port, screen not too big. Only thing I wish was that the ram was upgradeable. Able to add a nvme drive also.
memory is not upgradeable, I have this and the screen is ready dim and have light bleeding. For the price, it is OK, But I would really prefer more memory at the least.

Can they take a drop from a table and will it die in 2-3 years?

The concern with Lenovo is that there have been hinge failures on various models. Nobody needs that.
